His father, Ceferino R. Enriquez started his shoe business in 1955 using the label "MEG’S". Joey learned shoemaking at an early age. Following his father’s footsteps, Joey started his own label "figlia®" in 1986 as an exclusive brand for SM Shoemart. Refreshing youthful trendy styles are the trademark of designer Joey V. Enriquez. Today, figlia® is the premiere ladies shoe and the best selling brand in SM Shoemart, the largest department store chain in the Philippines, www.figlia.biz. figlia® shoes are now exported to Asia, the Middle East, United States, South America, Canada and Europe.

  • Nominated for Katha Awards at the Manila Fame Oct 21-24,2002 World Trade Center, Pasay City, Philippines.
